Process Mechano offers a easy-use way of creating 3D layouts ofprocess equipments like heat/mass transfer, chemical process plants, heavy engineering. The software is based on 3D implementationexperience in process industries and tries to simplify the ideationprocess for the process designer by parametric toolbox and intuitiveinterface so that no CAD knowledge is required, and the processdesigner does not have to depend on draft-persons to see their ideas invirtual reality.The product comes with a dialog driven interface for parameter input and output is available as 3D models, 2D drawings and part lists.

Process Mechano::
- The software uses SolidWorks 3D environment to auto-create
layouts.
- Most of the standard parts required by process designers are
already included in the parametric toolbox. The part family,
subtypes and parameters can be specified and parts can be
dragged into the 3D layout area. The parameters can also be
changed later if required.
- Any of the parts / assemblies created within Process Mechano
can be used in any SolidWorks assembly or vice versa.
- The easy-to use piping functionality of Process Mechano helps
the user to quickly create complex 3D piping routes alongwith
elbows, connections, flanges, etc.
- Once the 3D layout is generated, GA Drawings with multiple
views, part lists & Balloons is auto-created.
- The 3D Layout as well as GA Drawing can be saved as various
3D / 2D formats like IGES, DWG, etc.

How is Design Automation achieved:
Sketch and features create 3D models. Drawings are made by views and
annotations.
Master models and master drawings are re-used by using parts of it.
Further, the parameters and states of sketches / features/ views/
annotations can be controlled using spreadsheet and multiple instances of
design can be created.
Complete creation of model / drawing from scratch is also done using
application programming interface.
Design Workbench:
Every design process is unique and also every customer need is unique. But
we have developed a methodology of finding common set of features, logic,
dependency, attributes; and automate its creation and intelligent
workbenches to modify the std design to create custom designs. (e.g. in a
multi-cavity mold, the placement of ejector holes.)
