SolidWorks Pune User Group Meet:

SolidWorks Pune User Group was started in 2005 and now over 100 users are the part of this group.It was started to bring all the SolidWorks Pune users together for Informal interaction, Knowledge sharing about best practices, Knowledge sharing about various other applications of the technology, Become a strong lobby for representing any user concerns to SolidWorks etc

This was SolidWorks Pune Users Group 5th User Meet, held on 1st March 2008, at MCCIA Trade Tower, ICC, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune. Near about 35 SolidWorks Users from 19 organizations participated in the meet.

Mr.Utpal Kumar, Product Specialist, SolidWorks Corporation, India has given presentation on “Saving Time Using Smart Components”

Secondly, Mr. Arbaz Khan, Regional Technical Manager – Western Region, SolidWorks Corporation, India has given presentation on “Top Down Approach
for Assemblies and Design Optimization using COSMOSWorks”

Thirdly, Mr.Amol & Vishal from Verispring has given presentation on “Best practices of using weldment & design library.”
Mr.Yogesh Naik, Mark Design Solutions has given presentation on “ToolBox and Design Libraries”

At the end of the meet open house session was arranged, where participants discussed about SolidWorks market presence, job opportunities on SolidWorks,
COSMOSWorks calculation basis, etc

CADEC: CAD-driven Custom-Designed Equipment Configurator.

Mark Design Solutions Launched CADEC in Feb 08.

CADEC generates customized GA drawing without design engineer’s involvement for complex products which are required to be modified to customer’s requirements.

It virtually builds your product with all its features, attributes, logic, and dependency.

It gives you ‘to-the-scale drawings, highlights anomalies in the geometries and helps in correcting them.
