Introduction to FEA, Pre & Post Processing, Assembly Analysis, SolidWorks Simulation Element Library, Limitations of linea analysis, Loads & boundary conditions basic theory, Static analysis of parts, Finite element library, Element quality, Types of analysis, Meshing options, Contacts/ gaps, Method of solution.

Day2

SolidWorks Simulation Professional

1) Frequency analysis of parts, assemblies, with support, without support
2) Buckling analysis,
3) Thermal analysis,
4) Optimization analysis,
5) Fatigue anlysis

Day3

SolidWorks Simulation Motion

SolidWorks Simulation Motion User interface, defining constraints, Joint primitives, different types of contacts, Motion drivers, Forcing functions, Result visualization, Displacement/ Velocity/ acceleration & force vector plots, Dynamic interference examination, Intellimotion Builder, Types of joints, Contacts/ cam constraints, Joint couplers, Motion types, Applying forces, Tracing points in simulation, Animation options, Exporting results.

Pre-requisites

Trainee should have undergone SWX training and used SWX for at least 6 months.

Trainee should have experience in machine design / design calculations

Trainee should be Graduate Mechanical Engineer
