Process Mechano uses SolidWorks 3D environment to auto-create layouts
Most of the standard parts required by large machinery, process plant or equipment designers are already included in the parametric toolbox. The part family, subtypes and parameters can be specified and parts can be dragged into the 3D layout area. The parameters can also be changed later if required.
Any of the parts / assemblies created within Process Mechano can be used in any SolidWorks assembly or vice versa.
The easy-to use piping functionality of Process Mechano helps the user to quickly create complex 3D piping routes along with elbows, connections, flanges, etc.
Outputs
Once the 3D layout is generated, GA drawing with multiple views, part lists & balloons is auto created. The 3D layout as well as GA drawing can be saved as various 3D / 2D formats like IGES. DWG etc. |
